The cap, barrel, and trim have a smooth gold-plated overlay and display most beautifully with virtually no wear. The cap displays the gorgeous Citrine lacquer finish. The Serial number is KY1004951, GERMANY, and METAL2 is stamped on the side of the clip. The cap banding is stamped with, "MONTBLANC MEISTERSTUCK".
The cap and barrel of this fountain pen are in excellent condition, without any chips, cracks, repairs, dings, or dents, and the cap always attaches securely to the barrel. It features a gold plate overlay, which shows no signs of gold plate loss, no major scratching, and the ink-view window is crystal clear. The pen has no monograms or personalizations on the cap or barrel, and it measures 5 3/4" in length when capped and 6 3/8" when posted. 18k Gold Medium 4810 multicoloured pen tip.
This Montblanc fountain pen uses a piston filling system and has been previously inked by the original owner. Pen is used in good cosmetic condition with minor scratches, Please see pictures for cosmetic condition. There is no ink in the pen and may require cleaning prior to use, pen is untested. Pen sold as-is, No Box or papers.
