Design description
Reverse by Jean‑Louis Sirois shows a polished maple leaf over a gold‑plated recessed semi‑circle and larger shadow outline, with inscriptions “CANADA,”“1988–2013,” and “25 YRS/ANS.”
Obverse features the Arnold Machin effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as used on the original 1988 Silver Maple Leaf, with the denomination “50 DOLLARS” and date 2013.
