Spaceman Tressa Lux Automatic Watch LeMarquand Helmet Design 1972
1972 Spaceman watch was created by Andre LeMarquand, a swiss designer. Le Marquand was inspired by the shape of the helmets of the american astronauts who landed on the moon in July 1969.
The case is made of durable light fibreglass which was used in the 1960/70’s almost exclusively in the space industry. The strap is made of a durable material called Corfam® by Dupont, which was used on astronaut spacesuits. The crown and bezel are chromium plated steel.
Automatic movement with Date and Day in Arabic and English
Case: 47 x 42 mm
Running and virtually mint in original case. Blemish on strap loop as shown in pictures.
