One vintage 18 karat yellow gold brooch, circa 1970. The brooch consists of a domed heart shape frame lined with rows of claw settings securing the faceted round rubies described below. The claw set rubies are spaced by rows of twisted wire lattice. The brooch measures 32.0/31.5mm by 13.0mm deep secured by a 14 karat yellow gold hinged pin and safety catch assembly with a 14 karat yellow gold hinged chain loop concealed at the top/back.
