This exquisite fountain pen features a renowned white Meissen porcelain cap, embellished with a sepia-toned rose - the beloved flower of the Marquise, and the iconic Meissen porcelain blue swords hallmark. The pen's barrel is elegantly plated with gold, complemented by matching trim and an 18K gold nib. Both the cap and barrel are flawlessly preserved, free from any cracks, chips, or porcelain damage. The cap securely fastens onto the barrel, ensuring optimal functionality. When capped, the fountain pen measures 5 3/8", and when posted, it extends to 6 1/2".
